Join The Ultimate Mango Mania 2026, a one-of-a-kind tropical fruit experience celebrating the incredible diversity and flavor of mangoes! Hosted by the Tropical Fruit & Vegetable Society of the Redland, this exciting event takes place on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the UF/IFAS Extension Miami-Dade County in Homestead, Florida – 18710 sw 288 st Homestead, Fl 33030
Mango enthusiasts, gardeners, and food lovers alike will have the opportunity to taste over 150 varieties of mangoes from around the world while learning from some of South Florida’s leading tropical fruit experts. The event features special presentations and small-group Q&A sessions focused on growing mango trees in Florida, grafting techniques, the development of new mango varieties, mango farm cultivation, and the fascinating story behind Truly Tropical.
This year’s featured speaker is Shannon Whobrey, right-hand man to Chris Wenzel of Truly Tropical, who will share expert insight into all things mangoes. Guests will also enjoy a special talk by Louise E. King, Horticulturist at Fruit & Spice Park, on the rejuvenation of old mango trees.
