National Kids to Parks Day

Celebrate National Kids to Parks Day and Water Safety Month with the Venetian Aquatic Club (VAC) on Saturday, May 16, at 9:30 a.m., 2701 De Soto Blvd. The VAC, a group of dedicated volunteers that teach water safety skills at the Venetian Pool, will offer a free one-day Red Cross swim lesson. Prior to the swim lesson there will be a plaque unveiling recognizing the major centennial renovations that the Venetian Pool underwent.
