๐Ÿ† Sand Bowl Watch Parties

The big finishes, at 72nd St & Collins: the Third Place Final (July 18) and the FIFA World Cup FINAL (Sunday, July 19). Get there early, since these will draw a crowd.

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ Art Around the Beach

Free, walk up fun all tournament long: “Flags of Nations” (Ocean Dr & 5th St), an interactive soccer mural on Washington Ave, and soccer pop ups along Lincoln Road.

Mom tip: Miami Beach is running free trolleys and park and ride options, plus cooling stations, first aid, and family reunification points at major events, so pick a meetup spot with your crew before crowds build.

๐Ÿ“ Coconut Grove

๐ŸŒด “The Grove Cup” Watch Party at Peacock Park (FREE!)

A local favorite to kick off the tournament: Saturday, June 13, 5 to 8 PM at Peacock Park (2820 McFarlane Rd), screening Brazil vs. Morocco at sunset. Presented by the Coconut Grove BID with The Grove Soccer Experience (kids’ soccer activities), a photo booth, local food vendors, games, raffles, and a halftime surprise. Wear your jerseys and bring a blanket or chairs!

Mom tip: It lands right before Father’s Day weekend, a perfect free family outing. ๐Ÿงก

๐ŸŽจ PLAY THE GROVE at CocoWalk (FREE!)

June 10 to July 10, CocoWalk Plaza (3015 Grand Ave). A larger than life, immersive public art playscape where kids can climb, explore, and play their way through a “deconstructed soccer pitch.” Free and open to the public, designed by MIRTH Studio with estudioLAAVA. This is one of the most little kid friendly stops of the whole tournament, and since it runs for a full month, there’s no rush to catch it.

Mom tip: CocoWalk has shade, AC shops, and easy stroller access, so it’s a great hot afternoon win. Pair it with the Grove Cup watch party on June 13. ๐Ÿงก

๐Ÿ“ Wynwood

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท Wynwood Marketplace: Brazil Fan Home Base

This colorful open air venue is the unofficial home base for Brazil fans, with a big chunk of the space built to celebrate Brazilian football culture. Brazil’s tourism bureau (with SWARM) is even hosting legend Ronaldo “R9” for meet and greets and watch parties. Expect big screens, DJs, food, and that signature mural backdrop. Daytime matches are the most family friendly window.

Mom tip: Plan around nap and dinner times, and check the events calendar for the match day schedule before you go.

๐ŸŽฎ FunDimension x Playa Wynwood (most kid friendly!)

June 16 to July 19. FunDimension is a family entertainment center, so this is hands down one of the most kid friendly ways to catch the action, with watch parties and special experiences paired with arcade games, rides, and indoor AC. Perfect for mixed age crews where the littles need something to do too.

๐ŸŽฎ Grails Wynwood (kids welcome, no cover)

A rare find: a sports bar where kids of all ages are welcome anytime (most Miami sports bars are 21+). Every match June 11 to July 19 on 75+ TVs with full sound, no cover charge, and big tables. An easy, casual option if you want the bar energy without the 21+ rule.

๐Ÿ“ Brickell

๐ŸŸ๏ธ Brickell World Cup Outdoor Screening Series

The open air promenade at Brickell City Centre hosts an outdoor screening series on select match dates (roughly June 15 to July 18), with oversized screens, immersive dรฉcor, and activities for the whole family. With dozens of restaurants and the food hall right there, it’s easy to catch a game, grab a bite, and keep the kids comfortable (lots of shade and AC nearby).

Mom tip: Validate parking inside the center, and duck into the air conditioned shops between halves to cool off. Confirm dates on the Brickell City Centre site.

๐Ÿ“ Doral

West side mamas, you don’t have to drive to the beach for the fun. Doral has a couple of easy, family friendly viewing spots close to home.

๐ŸŸ๏ธ CityPlace Doral Watch Parties

CityPlace Doral turns its main plaza into a family friendly watch party on big match days, with an inflatable soccer field, arts and crafts, kids activities, food, and live music right in the open air center. Shops and restaurants are steps away, so it’s an easy outing with littles.

Mom tip: Exact match dates and times go up close to kickoff, so check the CityPlace Doral events calendar before you head over.

๐Ÿ“บ The Doral Yard

An open air food and gathering spot running “Vive La Pasiรณn del Fรบtbol,” with giant screens for the matches plus bites and drinks. A laid back, stroller friendly option for catching a daytime game.

๐Ÿ“ Hialeah

๐ŸŽ‰ World Cup Weekend at Factory Town (FREE!)

The City of Hialeah takes over Factory Town (4800 NW 37th Ave) for three days of live match viewings, fan experiences, and nonstop soccer energy. Free and all ages with RSVP (first come, first served, rain or shine). Every match plays on a massive 40 foot by 20 foot screen, with shaded seating, food and drinks, a local DJ, and activities for all ages. Daily hours:

  • Sun, June 14, 6 PM to midnight: Ivory Coast vs. Ecuador (6 PM), Sweden vs. Tunisia (9 PM).

๐Ÿ† Hialeah Mayor’s Cup Fan Fest

Saturday, June 13 is the big one: the Hialeah Mayor’s Cup Fan Fest kickoff with Mayor Calvo, when teams from across our community take the field. With the earliest start of the weekend (3 PM) and three matches back to back, it’s the most kid friendly day to go. All event proceeds are donated to the City of Hialeah’s Park and Community Engagement Department.

Mom tip: The parties run to midnight, so go for the afternoon stretch on Saturday with the littles and save the late nights for the soccer obsessed teens. RSVP ahead, since entry is first come, first served. ๐Ÿงก

๐Ÿ“ Around Miami-Dade (Official Park Watch Parties)

For the tournament’s biggest matches, the Host Committee is bringing free official watch parties right into neighborhood parks, so you can cheer with your community close to home. (Full lineup on the official events schedule; dates subject to change.)

๐Ÿ† Free Community Watch Parties (FREE!)

  • NoMi Village, North Miami: the busiest of the bunch. Sat, June 13 (Qatar vs. Switzerland 3 PM, Brazil vs. Morocco 6 PM, Haiti vs. Scotland 9 PM), the Quarterfinal Sat, July 11 at 5 PM, and the FINAL Sun, July 19 at 3 PM.
  • Little Haiti Soccer Park: Third Place Final, Sat, July 18 at 5 PM.
  • Amelia Earhart Park (right by Hialeah): the FINAL, Sun, July 19 at 3 PM.
  • Tropical Park (off Bird Road, near Westchester): the FINAL, Sun, July 19 at 3 PM.
  • Palmetto Golf Course (Pinecrest area): the FINAL, Sun, July 19 at 3 PM.
Mom tip: These are the marquee late stage matches, so they’ll draw a crowd. Pick the park closest to home, bring chairs and shade, and get there early for a good spot. ๐Ÿงก

๐Ÿงก Mom to Mom Game Plan

  • ๐Ÿ’ง Overpack water + sunscreen: June/July heat is the #1 thing to plan around.
  • ๐ŸŒ… Go early or evening: skip peak midday heat and crowds.
  • ๐ŸšŠ Transit + trolleys beat parking: especially Downtown and Miami Beach.
  • ๐ŸŽ’ Pack a go bag: snacks, wipes, hats, a portable fan, change of clothes.
  • ๐Ÿ“ Pick a family meetup spot at big events in case little ones wander.
  • ๐Ÿ“ Register early for RSVP events (kickoff concert, welcome tour).
  • ๐Ÿ”„ Double check times the day before, since schedules can shift.
This is a once in a generation summer for our city! Whether you catch a match, dance at the Carlos Vives concert, or just let the kids run wild on the ReefLine pitch, there’s a free, easy way for your family to be part of it. โšฝ๐Ÿงก
