Winter in Miami is a dream.
Each day we are blessed with clear sunny skies, moderate temperatures, and just the perfect crystal blue ocean waters. Each weekend, we look forward to family dining with our littles to enjoy the beautiful scenery and great restaurants. We’ve rounded up our list of favorite outdoor restaurants located on or near the water.
Miami Beach
Smith & Wollensky – Best known as a steakhouse but they’ve got great Fish and Seafood and if you ask nice, they’ll bring one of their off menu flatbreads for the kids.
Shuckers –famous grilled wings, fresh seafood and other local favorites
Malibu farm- simple farm-to-table dining that is fresh, organic and locally sourced
Lido bayside at standard- Japanese Izakaya – the menu has lots of locally sourced seafood and small dishes. They have a great happy hour special 4-7pm weekdays.

Downtown/ Miami River
Garcia’s seafood– Seafood Grill and Fish Market. Garcias is known for fresh fish brought by boat daily.
Verde at Perez-The menu is locally inspired, featuring dishes prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Key Biscayne / Coconut Grove
Montys coconut grove– Enjoy raw bar items, great seafood, burgers, sandwiches and salads all under a tiki hut.
